Relish the Best of Palawan

Palawan, southwest of the Philippine Islands is regarded as the country's last frontier. This island province has so much to offer and it boasts of it's rich fauna and flora. Rich in natural wonders, it is a sanctuary for many endangered species.

The easiest method of traveling to this island is by air. There are commercial flights from Manila to Puerto Princesa City. Hotel accommodations and arrangements for traveling to the different destinations in the island are available in the city.

A very popular destination in this island is El Nido. With it's beautiful lagoons, amazing rock formation, and over 50 pristine beaches along it's many islands, this destination is a sure winner for the nature lover and water sport enthusiasts. Snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and island hopping are among the popular activities in this paradise. This is truly heaven on earth.

Coron is another destination in this island province that is world famous for it's wreck diving. Witness history under the sea. There are Japanese battle ships that sank during world war 2 and are now surrounded by coral reefs.

The capital city is Puerto Princesa. Popular for it's Subterranean River National Park. This is an underground river that stretches through a winding tunnel/cave that is over 8 kilometers in length. Other activities include bird watching, mountain trekking or just bathing in it's white sand beaches.
