Bohol Prides Itself of it's Wonders

An island province seem to have it all, and Bohol will not disappoint. From it's beaches, to it's rivers and mountains, this island is rich in history and natural wonders.

Bohol is an island province with 75 other smaller islands in the Central Visayas region. It is the tenth largest island in the Philippines and it's capital city is Tagbilaran. From Manila, Tagbilaran is about 1 hr 15 min by plane. The city serves as a start off point for travelers wanting to explore the island province.

Rich in natural wonders, Bohol has been visited by many travelers from all over the world. Chocolate Hills is among the top destination in this island because of the amazing formation of the hills. Over 1200 cone shaped hills will make you wonder how they ever got there.

The Philippine Tarsiers have raised the curiosity of people worldwide that they come to this province just to see them. Tarsier is the smallest known primate on earth. So small yet with big owl like eyes, they look like cute little stuff animals.

24 km east of Tagbilaran is the town of Loboc. Famous for it's river cruise on a floating restaurant, the Loboc river cruise will take you to scenic spots of the town including centuries old church, the tarsiers, water falls, and more.

Just southwest of Tagbilaran is Panglao island. Panglao's popular destination is Alona Beach for it's white sands, and across the waters are the islands of Balicasag and Pamilacan famous for their dive spots.

For the adventurists, the Danao Adventure Park in Bohol is one destination where one can experience the adventures of the river, mountains and caves. Danao has emerged as one of Bohol's main attraction and the number of visitors here have been increasing.
